Our Georgia Story
Atlas Roofing Company was founded on October 23, 1970, by Coleman Williamson and James Preskitt — two industry veterans who took a chance and built something lasting. Today, over 55 years later, James Preskitt Jr. and Bobby Murray carry forward the same commitment to quality that made Atlas one of the most recognized commercial roofing contractors in the Southeastern United States. Based in Lake City (Atlanta Metro), Atlas is licensed in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina — and operates its own in-house sheet metal shop for custom fabrication.
